KellyKlub is an informational site for Kelly collectibles.

All finished dolls on this site were made from patterns from Crochet Crafts by Helga - or are of my own design. I have obtained written permission to sell the finished works of the patterns from Crochet Crafts by Helga from Helga herself.

The banner for this website was hand-drawn by my 7 year old son especially for this site. My best friend touched up and resized the image to be used as the banner. So, in effect the banner is copyrighted to my son! It may not be copied or altered in any way. If you need a banner for my site to link my site to yours - please use the banner link on my links page.

This site was constructed and REconstructed by my best friend, Karla. She has done a beautiful job of tweaking everything to make it look as wonderful as it does! Thank you!! :o) Any misuse of the site, and you will have Karla to deal with! *cringe*

Copyright of Designs
You may NOT sell or trade copies of my original designs commercially or privately. That also includes all of my designs for sale, as well as my free patterns. They are copyrighted to Destined Designs by Shawna.

You may make the designs for personal use as well as for sale. If you wish to sell finished works from my original designs, either on the internet or privately, please contact me beforehand. I would also appreciate acknowledgement as the copyright owner. Please make it obvious as to where the design originated from, as well, post a link to my website on your website or ebay auction, or post my banner from my links page on your website or your ebay auction. I don't mind if you create the finished works for sale - but give credit where credit is due. Thank you.

All outfits and patterns on my website are of original design by Destined Designs by Shawna and are copyright protected. In order to not be effected by copyright, any changes to an artists' work must be "substantial and creative." In effect, it should look very little like the original design, whether you copied from the original pattern or from making a design look like one of mine. To achieve this affect, you could add/remove rows, add/remove beads or sequins, add/remove accessories, add/remove a ruffle, and change the colors as well.

Free crochet patterns are also copyright protected. All rights as indicated above also apply to free crochet patterns except that there is no restriction to making copies of the free crochet pattern and giving them to others, but you may not sell them for profit or trade. You can not use the free crochet pattern or create a crochet outfit from the free pattern and then claim it as your own design. They too, must be changed significantly from the original if they are to be sold commercially.

All of these copyright rules are in effect unless you have written permission from Destined Designs by Shawna to do otherwise with the patterns. If I discover copyright infringement of my designs I will fight to have the site shut down or the auction closed. Please contact me if you have any questions regarding my copyright.

Destined Designs by Shawna creations are copyright protected and are intended for personal use only, or to be sold commercially if the above copyright rules are implemented.

About Me
I love to crochet. I find it a wonderful stress reliever - as well as an artistic way to express myself. I created this website to show the world what it is I like to do. The ideas I have for my own designs have been "floating" around my head for as long as I can remember... And so, I thought it was time to materialize my ideas, as well as display my finished works, in the form of this webpage. I hope you enjoy your visit!

I learned to crochet when I was ten years old. My grandmother brought me up to the hospital to visit my mother, and while we were there, it took a very long time to see her. So, my grandmother took out her ball of yarn and hook that she brought for herself to work with - and taught me how to do the basic crochet stitches. And I have been crocheting ever since!

Nearly 20 years later, I am still learning new techniques and attempting to improve my work. Its something I thoroughly enjoy doing. I am forever "tweaking" existing patterns to fit my ideas...

Although this website is set up for crocheted Barbie, Ken, Kelly, and Tommy patterns - my designs are not limited to that catagory. Someday I hope to expand to baby clothes and other miscellaneous items. But for now, I am just focussing on Barbie and Kelly - and Ken and Tommy outfits will be soon to come.

Special Thanks
I would like to thank my best friend, Karla, for kicking me in the pants to get this site done... *laugh* And I'd like to thank her also, for all her support in making this dream a reality. THANKS!! I would also like to thank Helga, from Crochet Crafts by Helga, for inspiring me to do a website to host my designs and a place to show my finished works of her designs. She's a very talented lady - and I enjoy her designs immensely.
