Sometimes when you're really feeling down something profound can brighten your day and give you new hope. When my chips were down, I met a woman at Walgreens holding a tiny baby kitten, whom she had bottle-fed. It was the only survivor of four. And it made me realize there's hope to be had, even in the most surprising of places.

Album: The Cesspool Fiasco
About 3 weeks ago we found out our cesspool was shot, and needed replacement. Well, we've got someone in to replace it. The thing is, they said "we'll collapse the pool for you". Collapse in my mind implies "like a stroller", or "like a wheelchair".

Apparently these guys took it more to mean, well, like the World Trade Center.

Album: The Anthrocon Wireless Project
Anthrocon 2003, I took the initiative to pioneer Wireless Broadband Internet Access at Anthrocon. And my friend Ryan, aka DJ Mcfox wanted to do a live radio broadcast from the system. It took some doing to get decent signal strength to stream at high quality, but we made it work. This is our story.

Daniel Mahoney II, My Grandfather, died July 7th, 2004.

Delivering his eulogy may have been one of my life's greatest honors. My other request was that he be honored with the pipes and Amazing Grace.

May he rest in peace. We know where he is, and who he's with.
